Turning On JavaScript in Your Browser

Javascript is a programming language used by some pages on this website to add dynamic content or provide facilities otherwise not possible. For example password protected pages cannot be viewed without Javascript. All modern browsers (i.e. the software you are currently using to view this page) are able to process Javascript, but the feature might have been disabled. Please see above to verify that your browser can process Javascript.

If JavaScript is turned off in your browser, find your browser name and version and follow the instructions below to turn on JavaScript. If your browser is not listed below, please click here for a list of recommended browsers.

Internet EFireReader Internet EFireReader 3.x and 4.x

• 1. Go to the View menu and select Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. In the Security dialog box, click the checkbox beside Run ActiveX scripts, near the bottom of the tab.

Internet EFireReader 5.x

• 1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. In the Security dialog box, click on the globe for Internet zone.
  4. Click the Custom Level button.
  5. In the dialog box that appears, scroll down to the heading called Scripting.
  6. Click the Enable button under Active Scripting.

Internet EFireReader 6.x

• 1. Go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options.
  2. Click the Security tab.
  3. In the Security dialog box, click on the globe for Internet zone.
  4. Click Custom Level button.
  5. In the dialog that appears, scroll down to the heading called Scripting.
  6. Click the Enable button under Active Scripting.

Netscape Netscape Navigator 3

• 1. Go to the Options menu and open Network Preferences.
  2. Click the Languages tab.
  3. Click the checkbox for Enable JavaScript.

Netscape Communicator or Navigator 4.x

• 1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click on the Advanced Category (on the word Advanced).
  3. Click the checkbox beside Enable JavaScript (make sure you choose JavaScript instead of Java).

Netscape Communicator or Navigator 6.x

• 1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click on the Advanced Category (on the word Advanced).
  3. Click the Enable JavaScript in Navigator checkbox.

• 1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
  2. Click Advanced.
  3. Click Scripts & Plugins.
  4. Click the Navigator checkbox under the Enable Javascript for group.

Mozilla Firefox 1.0

• 1. Open the "Tools" menu and select "Options.".
  2. Click the "Web Features" icon on the left hand side of the dialog box.
  3. Tick the "enable JavaScript" box.
  4. Click "OK"
