Easiest plug n' play technology

IRIS is not limited to just UV LED Pad. With UVITECs plug 'n' play theme being carried across to IRIS, there will also be the possibility to insert other color Pads to answer the various applications required. A White light LED Pad is available for applications involving Coomassie and a Blue light LED Pad for any safe dyes like SYBR safe. All of them have been designed to avoid time-consuming manipulations ensuring that you can handle your samples effortlessly.

With its exceptional f/0.75 aperture lens, IRIS captures an extraordinary amount of light. This advanced feature allows significantly more photons to pass through, enhancing image brightness and revealing lower concentration bands in shorter exposure times. Combined with a massive 9,2 MP camera resolution and cooling system, IRIS's superior optics is ideal for publication-level results.

Innovative Chromascan technology

Our unique Chromascan concept combines the power of LED illumination with the reliability of a scan-like system for more accurate quantification and minimal crosstalk. Our new technology offers both unmatched homogeneous illumination and flexibility for your epifluorescent Western blots applications, representing a significant leap forward in molecular imaging capabilities. The precision of our Chromascan clip and play modules, allows you to scan multiple proteins at different wavelengths, ranging from 365nm to 780nm.

At UVITEC, to answer the various numbers of epifluorescent dyes that may be used in a laboratory, we have designed 12 different packs of excitation and emission sources for you to easily insert into your system. Up to 8 packs can be inserted in your IRIS imager at any time you decide to start working on epifluorescence - no need to purchase all straight away. Furthermore, with specific confocal filters, be certain to observe your desired and specific fluorophore.

With IRIS' new software DeepEye, this feature is completely automatized for you to save time. Your markers, lanes and bands are now detected automatically and quantification provided in one-click.
